Subject: Blackberry enterprise service 10 and traveler

Hi,

Our main mail server is on 8.5.3FP3 and our traveler server is on 9. Users can use their iphone, android without any issue.

Management now wants to use Blackberry enterprise service 10, I have already installed the server but activation fails. I can see from the log of the Blackberry enterprise service that the device Z10 is connecting to the server. Step Contacting server ok, step Establishing secure communication with server ok, once step Deleting previous workspace is reached I get error message Failed to activate work account.

We have Active directory but we only use it for access control. I have used the same AD with the BES 10, I guess that might be the issue. We do use our main mail server as LDAP server, I tried to configure it to be used with the BES 10; but it does not work. Do you think the solution is to have Directory Assistance?

Can anyone please help me out, I need get this to work.

Thanks,
Arvind
